One of the most frustrating things is when you can’t seem to find your way to the destination you would want to reach. Most would never ask around for help, and end up losing a whole lot of fuel in the process. More often than not, men are too hesitant to admit defeat and are simply too stubborn to ask for directions. The first GPS satellite was launched in 1974 while the 24th was launched in 1994. The GPS satellite system is operated by the United States Department of Defense and the use of this system is free for anyone. Most motorcycle riders now use these GPS devices, and one of the most popular motorcycle GPS units in the market today is the Garmin Zumo 665. This device is a motorcycle-friendly navigator with stereo Bluetooth, XM satellite radio, weather, and traffic.

It features a bright 4.3″ touchscreen color display that puts all the information you need in an easy-to-read format as you travel down the road. It also has a glove-friendly intuitive interface that makes entering information as easy as shifting gears. The wide sunlight-readable display is designed for easy navigation, whether you are riding during a bright day or a moonless night. It also comes in a rugged waterproof case that will resist fuel sprays and ultraviolet rays.

Never Get Lost On Your Motorcycle

Websites like MapQuest and Google Maps are very popular and convenient for finding directions to one location. You can even print them out to refer to while in your car. Before I got my first GPS system, I mastered how to drive while glancing at my directions every so often. It can be done, but having my GPS with me is much more convenient!

If you ride a motorcycle, referring to printed directions is not even an option. Any piece of paper you tried to hold would fly away in about two seconds. A motorcycle GPS mount is the best choice for any motorcycle rider because the GPS is sturdily attached to the bike. Look for a model that has tough, weather-proof casing, an anti-glare screen, and a touch screen that can work with a gloved hand. An extra cool system can transmit spoken instructions to you using a built-in Bluetooth audio system, via a headset that fits in your helmet
